About the Bride and Groom

Emily is a social worker at New Alternatives For Children, Inc. in New York City, a not-for-profit health and social services agency. She grew up in Stamford, Connecticut with her two older sisters, Jessica and Rachel and her older brother Josh. After high school, Emily spent the next five years completing her undergraduate and MSW degrees while living in New York City. She enjoys spending time with her nine nieces and nephews and looks forward to adding two more nieces and nephews into the bunch!

Jared is an investment banker in New York City working for Scott-Macon, Ltd., a boutique advisory firm. He grew up in Potomac, Maryland with his older sister Rachel who once gave him a silly haircut when he was 3. After high school, Jared spent the next four years in Philadelphia going to college before moving to New York City and meeting Emily. He enjoys buying presents for his niece and nephew, watching sports, and referring to himself in the third person.

Emily and Jared are very grateful to their parents who have shown unyielding love and support throughout their lives. They are very excited that their families will celebrate their marriage together and appreciate all the sacrifices their parents have made for them. They are looking forward to seeing everyone at the wedding!
